Programmer: Game Developer
As a Game Developer you are responsible for the implementation of the game’s concept laid out by the game designers. In order to develop or add new features into the game, you work with the companies own or licensed game engines. Depending on the application, programming languages like C, C++ and Java are your tools of the trade. A firm grasp on script languages (PHP, JavaScript) also makes for a better integration of other non-programmer team members like level designers.
Requirement for Game Developer jobs
In terms of technical requirements, Game Developers need a degree in computer science. This is a basic condition. Game Developers have structured and problem-solving working methods. Effective skills in debugging are a great bonus for the application.
